A documentary & a movement

Why Isn't
Everyone
Dancing?

Let's unite and dance back to life. Everywhere.

My story

It started in
a hospital hallway.

During breast cancer treatments, I started dancing. Not to perform — because my body wanted to feel alive again.

And something happened: I felt pure ecstasy move through my body. So I followed it.

For 30 days, I danced everywhere — hospitals, streets, grocery stores, cafés… I was the most alive I had ever been. So a question came:

Why isn't everyone dancing?

I started asking experts and observing children, and it revealed what we've all experienced: we're not taught to feel. We're taught to obey and behave. To suppress. To cope. To disconnect from our bodies and our feelings.

This isn't new — through history, as cultures moved toward control and order, spaces for feeling and collective expression were slowly pushed out of public life.

And when humans are disconnected from their bodies and emotions — we disconnect from each other and from nature, our nature. This documentary started as a personal journey. But it's not just mine. Because what I went through in my body is not separate from what we're living collectively.

Systems are shaking. Patriarchy is collapsing. And just like in the body, collapse can be the moment we wake up.

This film is a love letter to the body. To feeling. To the courage of being fully alive in a world that asks us to stay quiet and contained.

The Movement

Not a film about dance.
A movement.

People dancing in public spaces. In nature. Not performing. Not entertaining. Just moving. Feeling. Being human together.

What would happen if …

…humans were reconnected to their bodies and emotions?
